At least it's not Wlad or Peter...

I do hope Holyfield finds a way to win. He may be inspired by Ruiz's success against Valuev.

I wish it were Wlad. Oh well, I hope he gets laid flat. I have always detested the bastard maker, with Jesus on the left hand and a whore on his right. I can't wait. I never ever tire of watching him get humiliated.

Valuev is denying it. Saying he's never heard of a fght with Holy. He's fighting Kali Mehan.

You know , I had a lot of love for Holy back in the day ... but this is retarded.

He must be determined to completely destroy his own legacy and the memory of his greatness , which by the time he finally hangs them up , we will all have forgotten what a great warrior he was and his battered brain will have forgotten that he was ever a boxer.

It shows you how strong the division is nowadays that people fear for Holyfield's health and yet was one of the best heavyweights of 90s

Holy is a shell of his former self , so I'm not following your logic here.

He's a punch drunk has been ... in the 90's he was a one man wrecking machine.

That's the WORST Part of All This...

Valuev ISN'T a Big Puncher, but when a Man His Size REPEATEDLY Hits U, it has PUNISHING Effects...Similar to the Monte Barrett Fight...

PROLONGED Beatings R MUCH Worse than 1 Punch KO's...For the Sake of his OWN Safety, Holyfield Should AVOID BIG Heavyweights @ All Costs...

This is a TITLE fight, Reed. Holyfield would fight his own son if his son was champ.

Maybe Holyfield believes that since we only live once, we should make the best of it. Holyfield is a working man! He doesn't want to just sit home like the average dude. He wants to go out there and accomplish something as long as his body permits and he wants to do what he was born to do....FIGHT!
This is a title fight so there's no way Holyfield is going to let this opportunity slip.

Against Valuev? I doubt it, but IF he wins and goes after either Klitschko, you're right.

doubt it all you want - doesn't change the truth. holyfield will accumulate damage in a long fight.... on top of the 35 long fights where he has accumulated damage already... after this fight he will be one step closer

Yeah, but at this point, honestly, if Holyfield's not going to show any more concern for his safety, then I won't either.

If he gets sanctioned, he can fight whoever he wants.

That doesn't mean Valuev should get a pass if this abortion comes off.

If there's any fighter that deserves a shot at the title, it's Evander Holyfield.

It's about time they gave that man an opportunity.

Please! Holyfield will outlive 80% of the members on this forum. He's so rich. He can afford to keep himself alive and healthy.
