Someone asked me this question today. It kinda blew my mind. Couldn't even really ballpark it. Can anyone answer this question?
I would say at least a thousand, but would I say two thousand? Maybe two thousand, but I probably wouldn't say three. I've been watching since I was a teenager. That's easily 20 years, and at one point I was watching daily at least 2 fights a day.
It is hard to ballpark. I'm 27 now, & have been watching with fervour (I'll never turn to the dark side which is MMA) since the age of 10. I would have to say around the two-thousand mark probably isn't unreasonable, but again, it's hard to find a satisfying number.
1,5 a week could be reasonable since there have been weeks when I watch like ten and times when I watch none. That would make about 75 a year and I have watched boxing actively for perhaps 17 years or so. So it could assume it is somewhere between 1000 and 1500 but it really is a shot in dark
I have been watching boxing for about 25+ years. I have no idea how many fights I have seen, maybe in the thousands.
I have 12,700 pro boxing matches from the last 9 years. I've watched maybe 1/3 to 1/2 of them. 3 a day is about 1000 a year. I watched more from 1998 to 2002, but there were fewer televised fights back then. I'd guess I'm in the 10,000 range. I've guessing I've watched fewer than 100 fights more than once. Glad I collect them. :scratcher:
