I have a friend who trains at Fairtex Muay Thai in San Francisco and I told him about my exercise program and how I run in the evenings and lift at lunch during work. He told me that I should only lift weights 3 times a week because you need at least 1 day recovery. He was saying that your muscles actually shrink or get weaker if you don't rest at least one day in between. I'm just trying to get cut up and chisled, right now I'm just kind of fit.
you get around this by training a different group of muscles each day...phonetap lifts 6 days a week. taking sunday off...
