He was the one saying that Oscar was basically shot.

He prepared Manny with a good strategy. Manny never fought like that before.

ALOT...because he saw that DLH was shot...and couldn't pull the trigger in the Forbes fight...most of us didn't see that...after all DLH face was busted up like never before...

I wonder why so many guys training the underdog have been correct about the outcome of a fight when the underdog wins?

Well surely he deserves some credit. However he used the same "can't pull the trigger anymore" line with Hopkins and was wrong.

A lot. The fight plan was great, but it was Roach's effort in making the fight happen in the first place that needs to be applauded.....he really put himself on the line and he was dead right

I wonder who took more satisfaction out of last night's result, Roach or Arum.

    Might be a toss-up.

Roach for sure. Arum probably would have hoped Pac won a close and controversial split decision so there could be a rematch.

Arum congratulated Roach for proposing the fight during the post-fight interviews. I think Arum MUST have felt some degree of vindication seeing his "featherweight" give his former client the beating of his life.

    agREED...

REED was MOST Impressed w/Manny's DEFENSE...Everybody's Acting like DeLa just COULDN'T "Pull the Trigger", but REED Saw SEVERAL Instances where DeLa Threw 4-5 Punch Combo's & MISSED w/Every Punch...

Manny's Head & Upper Body Movement has NEVER Looked Better...

I agree REED. Now he's regained his desire, Manny looks the shit.

He's not a stupid fighter by any means, oscar was by far the biggest fighter he'd ever faced, and he fought him accordingly.

Despite being past it, Oscar STILL had fast hands, when he threw those combos you could tell he still had some handspeed, but fuck, Manny's defense and reactions were tops.

Excellent (and unpredictable) head movement, and better footwork than I've ever seen from Pacman. His defense has never looked this good.

It was like a better, more polished version of his performance against Barrera the first time.

Incredible performance, so consistent too, round after round.

Roach really has a gem here with Pac and will end up going as one of the best in history as a result
