I paid $15 for the month, 6 month contract, so the next 6 months will set me back $90, irrespective of the fights they show, which could be good fights, or they could be James DeGale fights, who knows. Boxnation seems to have the HBO 24/7 stuff but any fool can pull that off youtube the week of the fight. Frank Warren is likely to put the price up sooner rather than later too.athetic: Right now i pay around $34 per month for subscription sports.
I'm proud of how many times I read "Anyone gotta stream?" in the round by rounds, that's the spirit! The fight against capitalism is a beautiful thing, besides I've come to be addicted to pikey videos anyway, so I'll skip this one this evening.
$64 seems excessive. The boxnation producing is a bit sketchy, they don't lead into fights very well, its all bit adhoc, and we got Colon Sanders doing the commentary, which is not bad but its not Lampley either.
Aggressive capitalism is the state,.. domestically it's a gentler form of organised crime, but with military toys, you can 'live the dream' overseas. Kill Julian whitey Assange! :cheer:
He touched those cables, and suddenly, honesty and transparency became the enemy of all mankind :clapagain: ..
boxNation seems like an amazing deal, I refuse to pay for ppv nowaday as it's an absurd rip off, but I'd order a channel like BoxNation even if it was 2x the price.
Word. A pistol to the head of a sheik and the whole world pays tax to 'America', the petrodollar joins the narcodollar in New York and London banks to enslave the 3rd world world through unrepayable loans, as the food giants move in, take the land and patent life itself, meanwhile the American people bleed to the banks through debt bubbles & their money is centralized to be shipped overseas with their jobs. 'Capitalism', 'State' & 'Criminality' .....as if there's somewhere one ends and the other begins :dunno: Anyway - Boxnation rules!
You guys need to get onto Ebay, get a working sky box with a sky card and try to set it up via 28.2 on the Astra satellite. It would be worth a shot. Worst case scenario you lose $100, which you are likely to blow on 2 shitty HBO cards in any case.
Anyone in the Nordie Hemisphere, I'm not sure about Satellite alignment outside of the North. If, and it is an IF, but if Boxnation are using the same techno as Setanta, and just using the SKY box and SKY card to zone in on, irrespective of a SKY account, then it's just a question of getting a box, a dish and contacting Boxnation.
One of them just needs to try this and let us know how they go on. If they live on a bit of a spread they just need to run up a dish, align it with Astra2D on 28.2 E {that's 28.2 degrees} and have their Sky box with Sky card hooked up. Once they are on, they will have the BBC on their box, Sky Ch. 141. Just having the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Film 4 would be worth the initial outlay. The tricky part is registering for Boxnation. Maybe a friend or relative in Ireland or the UK could actually even buy a box, test it, try to get onto Boxnation, and then just ship the sucker out, holus bolus.
I'll definitely consider that sometime next year when my living arangement is a little more permanent. I'd love to have Boxnation.
Boxnation, of course, will go up in price, and won't have every fight, but even if what they showed last night was all they showed for the month, it's still good value. That said, you will have to come to tolerate Bunce and his orange shoes.
