It's over. 12 rounds in the books. Huck busier, but Arslan the aggressor... Arslan also landed the better punches. I figure Huck will get the decision.
Huck won... wider scores than what really happened on at least one of the cards. Huck's a slapper, but he's pretty exciting.
i wasn't watching it too closely but seemed to me Grachev won. Bute was far too negatif and didn't threw enoug punches to my taste even though he had a great round 12
And Huck winning a contreversial decision vs 42 y.o. Arslan shows just how limited he ( and the hw division ) is. Arslan was pretty much a weak champ a few years back in a terrible division yet most had him winning
A cruiserweight fight demonstrates how limited the hw division is? I assume you are talking about Huck/Povetkin reflecting on this fight? That's a stretch, at best. Personally, I think that Huck is probably the best cruiserweight, but he's only rated #4 by boxrec and #2 by The Ring. I doubt I'll watch Huck/Arslan, but Huck's style will always make him vulnerable to off-nights. He's still very good, imo.
# You're a moron. Arslan and Huck are cruisers who decided not to make weight. It's like Floyd and Spadafora fighting to a draw at 168 and Andre Ward having his pfp credentials questioned as a result.
wow, you guy's are dense, my comment to the hw division was due to Huck beating Povetkin ( at worst the number 4 of the division ) in a lot of people opinion not too long ago. And as Mike pointed out, they made weight so don't know where that came from. Mike, your assumption was right, but I disagree that it'S a stretch at best. If the hw division was any good, the 3rd/4th rated guy, hyped by most as the future of the division wouldn't basically achieved the same result as a 42 y.o. mediocre former paper champ in a lighter weight class or an Ola Alfolabi
Irish is a clown that's been living vicariuosly throught the Klitchko for the last few years. No wonder he reacted like this
speaking of Klitshko, I don't know why he doesn't jump on Huck offer and fights him. Huck is very popular in Germany so the fight will sell big, and it's a gimme for Klitshko too
