GGG is very talented but OVERATED...he hasn't fought anyone and is already consider a destroyer.....but Stevens isn't the one to lay down the beating...he is going nite nite.

    Fixed.

I'm not saying Stevens will win. I said I will be surprised if GGG demolishes him.

    "Fixed"?

    How so?

    It isn't true

Macklin was certainly in the top 25 when Golovkin destroyed him

Why would that be sarcasm? That's a fact, I'm pretty sure he was ranked close to the top 10 when Gaybox destroyed him.

You're in for quite a shock if you think he's an overrated hypejob. He'll destroy Stevens, and batter everyone else at 160.

Don't worry, I'll open up the thread myself after Saturday's fight if he does.

That's funny coming from Stevens. They tried to build him into a hype job too with this ridiculous chin checkers thing but he ended up getting stopped by less than a gate keeper in Marcos Primera...

One way or the other I hope this fight answers at least some questions. Can GGG take a big shot of course being one of them. Naturally I hope he can and does, as there is clearly more upside for boxing with a Golovkin win than him getting exposed.

    CURTIS COKES' Birthplace...
Whether GGG is a "Hypejob" or Not, Stevens is ACCURATE in Pointing Out MOST of the Allure Came Off of Beating JUNIOR Middles...On the Flipside, Stevens Fought the Vast Majority of his Career @ 168 & he's MOVED DOWN to 160 for his Recent String of Success...He Will Be STRONGER than the Guys GGG's Accustomed to Facing & As REED Types, Golovkin's 100% UNPROVEN...

You HAVE to Favor GGG In This, but from the Moment Stevens Called him Out on NBC, REED LIKED the Matchup...Stevens WILL NOT Be a Deer in Headlights, as Macklin was & He Can BANG...Like REED Said Months Ago, Even if it's Only 2-3 Rounds, Golovkin WILL Be Tested, @ the Very Least...

When it's All Said & Done, Curtis Stevens will have EASILY Been THE Toughest Opponent of GGG's Career (Win, Lose OR Draw) & that GGG Bandwagon MIGHT Have Some Defectors...

I agree with Neil. Macklin is hardly great, but he's the best and most proven opponent of Gaybox's career.

Gaybox should smash Stevens in a few rounds, no sweat.

To be honest, I'm not even sure Stevens is better than the Ishida or Provska (polish guy GGG stopped on his first HOB fights, not sure of the name) of the world. It will be up to him to show he is saturday night as the bums he waxed recently certainly didn't made him a world beater.

I can not fathom how Stevens is the best opponent GGG has faced

Why? Because he says he is?

Never mind 25, Macklin is still #8 at The Ring and #13 on Fightnews rankings, even after the beating. Before the bout he was a top-10 contender according to everyone, had given a tough fight for Martinez and gotten robbed against Sturm. Only after the fight has Macklin become a can and even that isn't true. Also Proksa was close to top-10 before the Golovkin bout, now he seems to be ruined

REED hasn't hyped up a bum this heavily since that bum Allen Green. GGG will smoke Stevenson's sorry ass very quickly.

That's right, and somehow Haymaker has got caught up in the hype.

Stevens is going to get slapped around like a dark curly headed stepchild.

I think it would be great if GGG didn't just hurt Stevens physically, but hurt his feelings as well.

I've never hyped nobody you fool. I said GGG will not destroy him like he's done to his other opponents. I don't have any more to say until saturday night when I may or may not open up a thread and eat a steaming plate of perfectly seasoned crow. :shit:

You hyped the shit out of him, you testicle, giving it the big one like he stands a chance against Gaybox.

You best fucking believe he's getting destroyed like Gaybox's other opponents, he's not even close to being in Gaybox's league.
