you obviously don't know much about roids if you think it will automatically turn you into a body beautiful. It depend on the kind of roid you take, on your training regiment and on your diet.
Fedor was overrated any way. Now or 10 years ago, he loses to guys like JDS, Cain, Cormier, etc. Fedor didn't get old overnight. He just quit being matched against Hong Man, Zulu and Bum Rogers.
And as it turns out, Nog and Mirko were also overrated. And Coleman, Arlovski and Sylvia belong on my list of the crap he fought.
Nog, Cro-Cop and Fedor were certainly not overated. They were easily the best heavyweights of their time. Granted, their skill set at their prime may not be as good as today's elite heavyweights, but they were the best of their time. TFK
This was always my opinion of Fedor as well. I never thought he was that great, he was just matched great. Sure he had some good wins, he certainly didn't suck but he was vastly overrated.
Fedor was generally regarded as the best MMA fighter in the world throughout the 2000-2010 decade. You guys who say he is over rated, what fighters were better than him at that time? Especially what heayweights? TFK
fedor may have been overrated in terms of his invincibility, but he's still the greatest heavy ever. who was better than nogueira and crocop at the time he beat them? i would've picked cain, jds and overeem to have beaten fedor in recent years, but it's not like their resume is all that great. look at cain's. he has how many fights? and in his prime, he got KOed in less than a round. the thing is that had fedor fought and beat the same guys in the ufc instead of pride, he wouldn't be shitted on as much. he's still a top 5 greatest mma fighter of all time imo.
Agreed, also I don't think the level of skills has improved since fedor era contrarly to what a lot of you seems to believe. I don't consider guys like Nelson ,Mir or Dos santos to be superior to the quality of HW pride had. Even Cain, while a very good fighter, is full of flaws and is probably getting koed sooner rather than later
no doubt about it. I remember not to long ago how Fedor was pointed as fighting only cans like Hunt. Well, now a past his prime Hunt is in a title eliminator in the UFC. And I disagree that the talent pool has gottent deeper, imo, Pride hw division was at least on par with the UFC's current one.

The Fedor in that video would be UFC champion, I have no doubt. Cain is a worthy champion but Fedor is another level. Guys like JDS (who fancy themselves as strikers) are getting KO'ed, more round fighters have to avoid the KO and the submissions. It's such a shame he never fought in the UFC, such is life.

well, if you can buy legally a product that can improve exponentially you athletic performance, you have to be really naive to think that he didn't do it. What did you expect, that i gave you inside, unreleased info on fedor ?

I dont say this to denigrate Fedor, Roids usage is widespread among all mma gym I went to, even among people weren't even fighting pro. If people want to live in theyr fairy land, I don't mind, but as I said, you have to be very naive to think fedor never took any roids since not long ago, you could go to any drugstore in Russia and get some over the counter.
