What would you change? You can't change the career of a fighter completely but you could change one result or make one fight happen, what would you do first?

Would you make Ali somehow beat Frazier or Holmes? Would you make Hagler and Leonard rematch in six months? Would you make Roy Jones retire after the Ruiz fight or perhaps make the proposed Mike Tyson - Butterbean fight happen?

Roy retires after Ruiz. Ray Leonard fights Aaron Pryor at 140.

I would have had Jack Dempsey fight Harry Wills around 1921-22 or so.

#2 on my list would be wiping out the entire career of John Ruiz. Not only was he a plague on our eyes but he gave Roy Jones fans more ammunition to think he was a Superman of some sort.

Roy Faces Evander Holyfield as he was TRYING To Do, B 4 Eventually Moving Back Down to 175 & Facing Tarver...Roy Would've WAXED Holyfield, Opening the Door to yet Another Mega-Fight @ Heavyweight...Possibly, Tyson, Lennox or 1 of the Klits...

Regardless, Roy would've NEVER Left the Heavyweight Division...

I would like to see Richard Steele not stop the Taylor-Chavez fight. I am curious if the future would have been different for either guy.

I think if Taylor had finished and won a split decision he would have taken more time off before getting back in the ring. He took a tremendous amount of punishment and was back in the ring less than 5 months later.

I also think a win, and the belts, keeps Taylor at 140 longer, which means he likley avoids the tough match with Brown and the brutal stoppage by Norris at junior middle.

Taylor was among the most talented and tough guys I've ever seen between 135 and 147.

wuww!!! I like that first one!!! Yeah. Wills never got the big fight he deserved and he was legendary! Dempsey ducked him cause of the color line without a doubt.

I would have had a few more people around like Cosell who stuck by Ali despite his unpopular decision.... to petition and to reinstate Ali and watched him during the best years of his career insead of him being behind bars...

I would have also taken the girl out of Ike's room!

I would have liked Cus to live 5 more years and to overturn the Tyson conviction making it a not guilty.

I am a heavyweight guy so that is my contribute!

Tyson knocks Lewis cold in the second round. Then knocks out Holyfield. Then knocks John Ruiz cold, then retires. Or if I could just rewrite his whole career from 1988 onward.

I would keep the first 8 traditional weight classes.

    Flyweight (Maximum 112 pounds)
    Bantamweight (118)
    Featherweight (126)
    Lightweight (135)
    Welterweight (147)
    Middleweight (160)
    Light Heavyweight (175)
    Heavyweight (unlimited

One of the worst things that ever happened to boxing was the making of super and junior weight classes. All it did was fatten pockets in the sanctioning bodies and cheapen the name of "world champion"

I would also have only the WBC and WBA as recognized world champions. Competition is great but 4 recognized world champions in every weight class only cheapens the name of "world champion"

I would prevent Smoke Gainer from learning boxing and turn him into a male cheerleader.

I would make the fan man come down on the De La Hoya -Trinidad bout and the blades decapitate both training camps for their shit strategy.

I would cancel Jake's first boxing event until Nashville actually gets boxing fans.

I would cut off Joony's hands so he never writes another article.

    That's all for now.

That show is the reason I am a boxing fan. I watched it every week for years and years. It was sad to see it go.
