I thought throughout the entire promotion Floyd carried himself like a jackass, mind you that's truly what he is but on such a large stage, I didn't think it was wise for him to do that. Ray Leonard was as much of an arrogant asshole as Floyd, but he managed to keep it in check when promoting a fight. I guess that's what Floyd meant he he said he kept it real, real ignorant. It'll be interesting to see if Floyd earned new fans. I tend to think he blew an opportunity to greatly improve his stature, but I could be wrong. Actually, it would be kind of sad if he does. There shouldn't be rewards for boorish behavior.
a better question is what did Floyd do to back up those statements that he belongs or is better than Ali, Leonard, or Robinson? with that lackluster performance against an old, past his prime, fatigued Delahoya?:dunno:
