How does Inoue fare against Jofre, Olivares, and Zarate? I think he gets knocked by Jofre, who was just a more complete fighter than Inoue, and who had a granite chin. Inoue admittedly is live against the other two, as they didn't have iron jaws. But they still represent the biggest threats Inoue has ever seen.
Wow, I immediately thought of Jofre, Olivares and Harada; not Zarate. Weird. I concur; he's not got much for Jofre, IMO. Not to say he has absolutely no chance, because while yes, Jofre was tough, I wouldn't say he had a granite chin. He was hurt on quite a few occasions by lesser punchers than Inoue - Harada being one of them - but I do think Jofre would win. He'd pick Inoue off, jab with him and counter him coming in, or box him safely at range. Zarate's range and defence would really mess with Inoue's jab and feet IMO. He'd get caught with crosses coming in and find himself hitting a lot of glove and forearm more than anything important. Zarate's uppercuts and left hook would really catch Inoue too, if the first Donaire fight is an indicator. IMO, Olivares could either have the most dominant win, or the worst loss. If he approaches the fight in the same cool manner he did for the Hafey or Castillo rematches, he'd box circles around Inoue IMO. But if he goes in guns blazing, it becomes a fight of who's got the better chin and that isn't Olivares. TL;DR - Inoue is fast, skilled, tough and hits like a tank so he has a chance against all three.
Watch out, now! You can't pick against Inoue like that! He just demolished the immortal Stephen Fulton!
