"There was after all a real reason for Floyd passing up an 8 million dollar payday to fight Antonio to instead meet Carlos Baldomir for 3 million. If Floyd was confident that he was going to spank Margarito as easily as he would Baldomir, then why did he take less than half the money for the same level of risk?" - Angel Rodriguez

:eeeek: Whooaaaaa!!!! Hello???.... what's this!...:crafty: :eeeek: is this true?..

yes very interesting....Mayweather went on to beat Bumdomir become "the" welterweight champion of the world, be involved in the biggest fight in boxing from the last 20-25 years..and is now schedule to fight "the" jr. welterweight champion of the world....

Antonio Margarito went on to pull out of a fight against Miguel Cotto..to take on his SPARRING partner..and lose a Decision 8-4...

Perhaps that's why he chose to fight Baldomir instead...b/c everybody knew he was fighting DLH in May and Baldomir was an easy mark.

I thought it was quite clear that PBF fought Baldomir not only because he's a better fighter than Fagarito (according to their repsective resumes), but because Baldomir was THE weleetweight champion of the world, while the Fag was a fringe contender at best, with no meaningful victories to speak of.

So if the WBO goes forward with the mandatory and they allow you time to heal, will you be willing to fight Paul Williams before getting in the ring with Miguel Cotto?

Like I have said before I am willing to fight any fighter. Paul Williams has talked a lot, even through the elbows. Those are first to go down, the ones that talk a lot are the one that fall the hardest. But who is Paul Williams? I don't know how he got to be the #1 mandatory. I don't know who he has beaten, who he has fought to get there, he hasn't fought anybody

Kauki, do you agree with Margarito, that even after beating him, Williams still hasn't fought anyone half-decent?

For all those who claim "Fraud's motives for fighting Baldomir was because he was THE linear welterweight champion of the world" ....

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EFnaaK0KlTE

:cheer: Check out what Fraud has to say about that ^,... Oh no Dympeople,..sorry to hear him say that....

Why should I check out some youtube clip? :dunno:
It is an establiushed fact that Carlos "Tata" Baldomir was the undisputed, absolute, unified, true, linear welterweight champion of the world, when he was soundly trashed by PBF.
It is also an established fact that Anotnio "The Fag" Margarito was NOT the undisputed, absolute, unified, true, linear welterweight champion of the world, when he got beat down by Williams, and furthermore, Margarito chose to fight (and lose) to a guy, who, by his own admission, "hasn't beaten anyone".
It is clear as day that PBF chose the hard path to success (and won) and Margarito chose an easy path (and lost).
No clips on youtube will change those facts.

    That's bullshit.

Floyd received $8 million for the Baldomir fight.

Margarita could've fought Cotto on June 9, but decided to try to be smart and fight Williams...for less money...and ALOT..ALOT less exposure.....because he didn't want to give Arum another year in his contract...?!?!??!

This isn't on topic,.. but I already condemned Margarito for replicating Fraud's classless behaviour, though Paul provoked him ceaselessly through press releases, it's amazing how hypocritical Fraud-groupies can be..:eeeek: you're shaking your finger at a temporary mirrored behaviour of Fraud Mayweather??... and this, is your defence mechanisms for this shocking revelation of Fraud's perce against Baldomir?...:dunno: shouldn't you groupies be angry at Fraud for lying to his 'precious fans' ... ?

Did PBF beat his C level fighter (Gatti)?
Did The Fag beat his C level fighter (Williams?
    I rest my case.

    There you go.

The first guy beats down a C-level fighter and makes him quit. Cries afterwards.
The second guy loses badly to a C-level fighter. Doesn't cry afterwards.

Question: which guy is a better fighter?

No, don't want to bother.....The fact that Baldomir was the true, linear, undisputed, absolute, reigning, defending welterweight champion of the world is good enough for me.
It is also good enough for me that Margarito was NOT the true, linear, undisputed, absolute, reigning, defending welterweight champion of the world.
You see, Kauki, it is every fighters' dream to fight THE champion instead of some fringe Fagarito. Exactly what PBF did

:crafty: Hey fellas,.. what's all these panick induced tangents doing lying around in this thread?, they've been perseverated everywhere, what a mess!...guys whaddyer have to say about allegations that Fraud was paid only a 3 million dollar perce, minus the 749,999 bail fee to avoid Margarito, rather than 8 million and 1 that Dan Goossen, Leonard Ellerbe and Fraud himself claimed he were recieving?....:eeeek: Ghastly iddn't it!?

    Seriously, this is getting ridicuolous.
We should blame PBF for fighting the guy (Baldomir) who at least has beaten someone noteworthy, as opposed to fighting a guy (Margarito) who (by his own admission) got beaten by a guy who hasn't beaten anyone?

I prefer to see two champs duking it out (PBF-Baldomir) as opposed to seeing one champ (PBF) shutting out some fringe fag, like fagarito, who routinely loses to guys who haven't beaten anyone.

I'll bet your next post (after trying to respond to this one with something clever) repeats something you've already written in this thread at least 3 times before.

It just goes to show Dympeople, there's a heavy price to pay for fear of another fighter, a lump sum of 8,000,001 - 5,000,000 - 750,000 = 2,250,001 this bankrupt remainder, being allocated into percentages between his team and management ofcourse, :eeeek: now that's what I call the square root of sheer phobia,..the algebra of the, "slave wage" as Fraud would put it,..

    Oh Dympeople.

because Margarito didn't deserve a shot at PBF. and PBF is all about fighting the guys who've earned the privilege to face PBF. PBF proved he's the best at 140 by beating Gatti. Then he proved he's the best at 147 by beating Baldomir.

Neither fighter was considered the best in either division. In Baldomir's case, yes, he was the linear champ, but he wasn't considered the best.

Floyd groupies are beginning to get as bad as roy groupies.

Sir, I'm afraid to inform you, apart from a scarce few intellectuals, Roy and Fraud groupies are one and the same, unfortunately  .

Wlad to Vitali to Wlad again,..know what I mean?..
