Its a ridiculous thread. They basically claim that brock is just some brawler from the street that came in the UFC and dominated. Not true. That was KIMBO. And look what happened to Kimbo.

Brock was a 2 time NCAA heavyweight wrestling Champion. Wrestling is probably the most important aspect to have in MMA. He already has that. Its very similar to Josh Koshcek. Josh was very successful and he had no real prior experience other than Wrestling. The difference is that Brock is unlikes any other person. Brock is ridiculous strong, Athletic and Fast.

Brock being a top 5 heavyweight right now is not really a big deal. The division is terrible.

If someone came into boxing, and Knocked out Holyfield, Povetkin and Arreola, in their first 4 fights, they would be considered a top 5 heavyweight.

Wrestling skills rule! I think that's why a few folk believed a healthy Kurt Angle might've had some success in MMA. Too bad about his neck though.
Could you imagine Kurt Angle vs Randy Couture back in 2007 for the UFC heavyweight title back when Couture was the top dog and Kurt was rumoured to wanting to compete? Would've done solid business for the UFC.
