So the Barkley that KO'd Hearns vs. the Wright that out-boxed Tito at MW And the Barkley that KO'd Keith Van Horn's cousin Darrin vs. the Wright that fought Hopkins at 170 (lets say he gains less weight this time for SMW)
Winky Wright does the incredible job of making a Barkley fight boring jab... jab-jab... left cross that’s basically just a jab... jab... jab-jab-jab... while Barkley throws haymakers at Winky’s arms
Winky wins, but I don't think it'd be easy at all. Barkley's not-give-a-fuck swarming style combined with his physical strength presents problems for Wink. Looking at who REALLY outclassed Barkley - Kalambay and Toney. Wright didn't have the legs and quickness of Kalambay and didn't have the power and arsenal of Toney. Overall, Winky just wasn't as talented as Toney as a counterpuncher and as a combination puncher. Swarming was the way to trouble Wright. So once again, I do think Wright wins... but it'd be competitive and Barkley would win 4, maybe even best case 5 rounds.
