    Mike O' Perez :scared2:

The rebel beat the Russian over 10 in an exciting HW clash, did anyone see this fight? What do you guys think about Perez?

Yeah I saw. Perez has one hell of a chin!! I like how he can take some and give some back. This was actually a big win for him. This other dude was 18(18)-0-0 wasn't he? And he was a big favourite. Many didn't give Perez a chance.

    Corcaigh!!!!

Apparently The Russian was/is a top prospect but credit to him for taking the fight. Rumour has it nobody will fight Perez.

Mike's ring IQ is far superior to a lot of these guys and proved last night he can take a shot. Future looks bright for Mike 'The Rebel' Perez.

He won the heavyweight version of Prizefighter a few years ago then hasn't really fought much since.

I was impressed by him then, and was impressed again last night.

Let's hope a decent promoter gets him some fights.

An attacking southpaw heavyweight with a good chin and some power could do very well in this era.

Best Irish heavyweight since Kevin McBride no doubt. Speaking of which, he should fight Kevin for the Irish heavyweight title or something like that.

He seemed to struggle with the southpaw badly, his angles were all wrong and he didn't seem to be able to miss an incoming jab. But I loved the look him in all his other fights.

Oh jeez. I guess it's not surprising, it was a brutal fight and the guy sustained quite a bit of damage in a game effort. By his comments in the corner from the first round on, he seemed to believe he was seriously injured more then once to.

Hopefully they caught it in time.

He looked very similar to JC Gomez. Busier, easier to hit, probably a little less skilled, but still similar. Garcia's already gotten more love in one so so fight than Gomez has gotten in his career. Gomez was measurably better, imo.
