IS WALKING AROUND IN ANKLE WEIGHTS BAD?

    I'd heard it's bad to wear them, but I thought it was only bad if you ran in them. I want to increase the size of my calves and thought this might be a way to do it.

    it won't help to increase the size, but could help you jump higher if you play basketball with them.

    You'd be better off training the calves in the gym with weights and stuff. Calf Extensions with massive weights, etc.

    ankle weights can be great

    I have a good friend who has 2 kids.. he works out at home and for Cardio puts the kids in a double stroller and puts on two 5lb ankle weights and walks them for about 2 miles a day, up a big ass hill! great workout!

    I don't know if it will make your calves much bigger, unless you are raising up on your toes a lot...
