Of course he is. He looked good in there tonight.

I really never thought Judah would join the wily old veterans club. Really solid performance tonight.

He looked good in there tonight. I have never seen Paris fight and he looked like he didn't have much experience fighting against southpaws.

Paris has always looked serviceable. I thought the fight was a toss-up but Judah won every second.

It's hard to have confidence in Judah. Never know if he will let his hands go or do nothing.

One of the best cards in recent memory.NOT A SINGLE BORING ROUND IN THE 33 rounds. Roach was disturbing to listen to though. Jennings is the first heavyweight in a long time I look forward to seeing AGAIN. He has a little more than a dozen fights, but the tools are there .Too early to tell, but I WAS IMPRESSED by JENNINGS.

Yeah, Jennigs did well. Of course he is a 'leap amateur' and not a very big puncher but he is a good athlete with very good speed and he was able to put up a disciplined performance, plus he was in shape. Solid showing

I think Khan was just all wrong for Judah.

Judah is a pseudo-slick, counter puncher type really, often too patient, and easily just stops working altogether, and loses focus too.

Against a guy like Khan who has more reach, really fast hands, and throws shit loads of punches, it was enough to shut him down.

You need to get in Khan's face to win basically, and when you do, you don't even have to be that good at is, as Maidana and Peterdude showed.

Judah has always had good offense, and when he's fully focused, pretty good defense too. But he's always been an elite gatekeeper too, he'll lose every time to even a borderline elite fighter.

    And he's too unpredictable obviously.

I was very, very impressed. Sergi never was the greatest, but he was serviceable in this shitty era. Jennings beat the fucking shit out of him, just battered him like a Hungarian Whore. It was his 13th fight. Heavyweight is so thin, I think only the Brothers K would be clear favorites. He WOULD beat that fat Mexican shitbag Arreola.

His style loos like that of an amateur. He sits down on the punches though. They had plenty of "mustard" and "zippity-do-da" on them. As you mentioned, he looked like an athlete and not a fat pig.

Kinda small HW though in this era maybe?

Lets see him vs Seth Mitchell?

He weighs 220 and is a solid 220. His hand and footspeed will see him through nearly everyone except the Klitisschkos.

I thought Adamek looked shitty. He should have knocked that bum out. He's really just not a heavyweight at all. He needs to get his ass back to cruiser.

Judah looked great. He should fight Rios.

Yeah, Adamek looked like a club fighter but the fight had a nice tempo. I wasn't bored.

I was. Adamek is nowhere near a top HW. I realize now why he took such a careful path to the Klitschko beating. I'm surprised he even beat Arreola to be honest.

Surprised that a cage fighting fan would care if a guy was top level or not. Adamek is a shitty heavyweight, but he's still better at boxing than any cage fighter is at cage fighting.

You're a damn genius, a boxer is better than an MMA fighter......at boxing!

Thank you Steve for this most profound discovery.

I don't know what you want me to say. Boxing gets boring when you know neither guy is getting a KO and one guy is way better than the other, yet still for what ever reason can't finish the fight.

I like MMA, I'm never going to feel bad about it and you pointing it out isn't going to change anything. For the most part, I think MMA fights are more exciting.

Right, but as evidenced in post #23, you also can't read. So the part in bold shouldn't be shocking.

With all due respect, Zab was an early 20's punk kid back then. He was running around with the entourages of Tyson, Floyd, and Vargas, and he THOUGHT he was some type of thug.

In recent years, it seems he's surrounded himself with better people and has finally matured.

It would have been nice if he had this maturity 10 years ago when he still had all his physical gifts.

I still believe that the early 00's Judah would have beaten Khan. He was faster than Khan back then, and would have countered in-between Amir's bullshit flurries.

At this point, he's still too fast for a guy like Vernon Paris, but not fast enough for Conman.

Due to styles, he'd be better off facing Rios than Con.

Acosta proved that Bam Bam can be countered and hurt. Zab STILL hits much faster, and harder than Acosta.

Not saying Zab could beat Rios at this point, but he has a better chance of upsetting Rios than winning a Khan rematch.
