As you may have seen, one half of the Klitschko brothers Wladimir Klitschko has issued a challenge to WBA world heavyweight champion and boxing sensation David Haye. I would firstly like to say what a stupid move by Wladimir, as I feel he does not even deserve to be in the same ring as Haye. Haye is no Eddie Chambers, Ruslan Chagaev, Hasim Rahman or Tony Thompson, the past four fighters Wladimir has fought to keep hold of his titles.


If Wladimir really wants to fight David that much then he needs to give Haye 70% of the earnings after all David is the one that will generate most of the income, not a boring Klitschko. Hate him or love him, David Haye is the talk of the heavyweight division. I think Wladimir might be jealous of his skill, popularity and deep down the knowledge he will never beat him, so he has turned to running his mouths off. Well, it just makes him look like a silly immature child, even the most hardened of the Klitschko fans – the whole 2 of them (and one is their mother) – can’t disagree that Wladimir made himself look a little scared.

As it is, Wladimir has put out the challenge to Haye but he does not sound confident. As a boxing expert, I have heard a lot of boxers calling out others, but Wladimir sounds extremely unconfident, and so he should be. I’m sorry but Haye is too smart for the usual jab, jab, right from Wladimir all night long.

I can see Wladimir getting seriously hurt if this fight ever happens. This will also be his first ever heavyweight test and we will soon find out what a poor fight he is. My prediction is that David will destroy him inside the first three rounds.

So there you have it, Wladimir Klitschko shut your mouth and start fighting. No one likes a trash talker unless you can back it up like Haye, which I think you probably can’t.

 

is this article for real? Haye is a fucking flash in the pan. Why doesn't everyone see this? Wlad will crush him !!! OMG - I'll be rooting for Wlad if these two fight - Haye should go fuck himself - just another fraud.

I doubt Haye beats Klitschko, but it is not the impossible task some make it out to be, & it probably would benefit the division's image. A shake-up involving a good fighter with some excitement in him toppling a (relatively) long-standing champion who fails to inspire most fight fans would do more good than harm.

It is part of the reason why Haye has, in certain emerald-tinted circles, become so despised. He has all these amateur hacks on board, all these part time horseshitters who sing along with his jilted tune.

It's ironic...Haye doesn't even live the English dream of chips and beer and curry. He has pissed off to Cyprus. Not even Greek Cyprus, but the bloody Turkish one. Whether you like Martinez or not, it's clear he's legit, and a world class fighter.

:crafty: Well,.. a cancellation and refusal to even negotiate a big money fight over a random drug testing clause would help zoom in on the suspicions, give us a further lead,...but, even if it were Pavlik's intentions, (assuming if even he himself is clean, given it's Arums plans for him to come fight in 'Texas'...:crafty:) over his promoters dead body, will any of Bob's fighters ask for random drug testing, thus Martinez is safe. Arum is charmed,.. It's possible he'll get them all working with 'Trevor Graham' , like an Asterix and Obelix episode,..come take a soup spoon of our village potion. :crafty:

Hello David,

I see that Wladimir Klitschko put out a video on You Tube claiming that now he wants to fight you. Apparently, he sees an opportunity to fight another "smaller" guy because you came from the cruiserweights.

David, I've been in this game a long time. Before you waste a lot of your precious time on them, please just realize that you don't have to be at the mercy of the Klitschkos. I've already gone down that road and been tortured by the games they play. You give them every advantage they want and they just keep backing out.

Don't waste your time.

You are a proven and legitimate heavyweight champion now. You beat Nikolay Valuev and now John Ruiz. Let's you and me have a real, action-packed heavyweight title fight. I'd love to go Europe and fight you.

The smaller divisions are for showing skills. The heavyweight division is for punching power and all-out wars. People want to see Lennox Lewis and George Foreman type power. They don't want to see the Klitschkos do their punch and clinch, run-around-and-dance, octopus fighting that they do. They hurt the division with their safety-first styles. Neither one of them put it on the line. The fans want to see knockouts.

We don't have to deal with the Klitschkos hand-picking opponents and fighting only in Germany with their boring styles. Let's you and me go to war and give the fans what they want from heavyweight boxing.
