Was watching Taylor vs. Wright again recently and this matchup occurred to me. Jacobs is maybe technically better but Taylor was the gutsier fighter. I could see Taylor putting Jacobs in a shell and taking a decision. Jacobs seems a little too risk averse.
Agreed with the consensus thus far. Taylor could fade late and was vulnerable to big punchers when that happened, but if you didn't fit that criteria he could be a stylistic nightmare for you. Plus, his 2-0-1 record over three fights with Hopkins and Winky is more big fight success than Jacobs has had in his career thus far.
