Jack was clamouring for the fight when he was the 168 champ. If GGG had accepted the challenge and moved to 168 to face him, what would have happened?
Jack can't stick and move well enough to outbox Golovkin, he can't hit hard enough to KO him, he can't take a shot well enough to trade with him and he's not strong enough to impose himself on him and make his size advantage a real factor... How would he go about winning?
Yeah, agreed with Cdogg. The Swede isn't that good. He's bigger than Golov, but that's literally his only edge. If anything, there's a better case to be made for Farmer Froch being Hell for Golov at 168 than Jack. I think the notion of Golovkin ever beating Ward is dead though, which seemed far fetched even then... but a minority of Golovkin groupies believed in his chances against Ward. Ward would have dominated Golov.
Jack is a solid fighter who is bigger than golovkin. Basically it was a bit over a year from when he won the title at 168 until he moved to light heavy. at what point was he clamoring for a fight against the guy 8 pounds below him who fights on a rival network? jack was talking about moving up to 175 after he finally won a title vs groves
Jack has got a draw with Chunky and didn't beat Groves by a whole load. GGG on points, just wins his rounds a bit bigger, a bit more often.
