There's no question the guy's speech has changed. I'm a troubling sign when you hear fighters slur their words, but with Toney, it doesn't really sound much like a slur. He's mumbling more and it sounds like the fat in his face is messing up his speech. You should post the video of RJJ and Toney hyping up their fight on HBO on the split screen. That one leaves no doubt that Toney is BD.
I don't know about him being brain damaged but I know for sure that his boxing intelligence and ring savvy is STILL all there, 100%. You just need to watch his fight against Rahman from 2 months ago and realize Toney still knows what he's doing. A brain damaged fighter can't fight like that. Toney's still ducking, dodging, slipping, countering like a wizard. He's a thinking fighter and he's still sharp from my perspective.
