I would favor Harding, and for one big reason - stamina. Harding had endless stamina, Pascal had pathetic stamina. Pascal would no doubt build a lead, but I think Jeff's very underrated body attack would further add to Pascal's slow down. Harding beats him up down the stretch, and takes a deserved decision.
Haven't watched any of harding fights bar the andries ones, so i can't really make an educated pick. The only thing.that I'm sure off is that it would be an action fight, though probably a bit ugly.
I uploaded his stoppage win over Nestor Giovanni about a year ago. Overall, probably Harding's best performance. He actually beat up Giovanni worse than Michalczewski did.
Watched a few rounds. Hw had good pressure, and his combos were rather smooth, but was a bit of a plodder and his defense is very leaky. Pretty obvious that the fights pretty much entirely depends on how well harding takes pascal punch. If he can take it, he most certainly wins, but im far from sure he could
Harding had an excellent chin. It was one of his best attributes. He was only stopped in the Andries rematch, when he was outta shape.
He had a good chin for sure, but he would be eating some bombs against pascal with the leaky defense he had. Now, pascal wasnt a dynamite puncher, but he had pretty good power and speed. He hurted pretty much everyone he fought. He doesn't necessarily have to ko harding to win this fight, only hurt him enough times to steal a few rounds, when harding start to get in his groove in the middle rounds (pretty sure pascal wins the first few rounds with speed and movement, but he wasn't good enough to do it for the whole fight). Gun to my head, i think he can do it, but i wouldn't be surprised if harding manage to take his punch and wins the figjt
I'd also take Harding to smother Pascal, imposing himself and out-working him against the ropes. He'd take a competitive decision over a tired Pascal IMO.
