Fenech beats Loma's ass at 126. He basically has the worst style imaginable for Loma to deal with, and Loma was still too green at 126 to handle a Fenech. He wouldn't know what to do with Fenech's relentlessness, physical strength, and rough house tactics with only 3-4 fights under his belt. Fenech walked through two devastating hitters at 126 in Callejas and Villasana, and I dont see anything from Loma really keeping him off this weight. Truthfully, I'm not too sure if Loma beats Villasana at feather, let alone Fenech.

At 130 its a different story. Loma now more seasoned at 130, and Fenech not as good at 130 as he was at 118-126. But Fenech at 130 still managed to give Nelson (sick or not) Hell, so 130 is probably where this fight is the most compelling. I do see Loma winning at 130, but Fenech would give him problems if on Nelson 1 form.

135 isn't worth answering, and not sure what was the point of you even asking. Fenech was an old, shot man at 135 who did nothing more than get blown out by Philip Holiday at the weight. Loma batters him at lightweight.

Fenech, realistically peaked at 122 when he destroyed Payakaroon (who was a very good fighter).

    Tough to Say @ '26...

Was the "Real" Featherweight Loma the Guy that Lost to Salido or the One that DOMINATED Gary Russell, Jr???...Fenech Beats the Salido Version but Loses to the Russell Jr. Version, in REED's Opinion...

Loma Wins @ '30 and '35 for Sure...

    Same guy, different styles.

I find it hard to believe that Loma could be ready for Fenech ONE FIGHT after not being ready for him. It doesn't make sense to me.

All due respect to Salido, but he's just a tough guy with zero talent.

    Salido couldn't shine Fenech's balls.

I just think Loma was too green for Fenech at featherweight.
