Jeff Lacy Files Lawsuit Over 'Left Hook' Trademark Problem is, I looked it up... the company in questioned filed to trademark the "LEFT HOOK" name back in 2012... while Lacy just filed in Feb. LMAO @ Lacy seeking half a billion. Dudes brain must be fried.
A lawsuit over the use of such a generic term as Left hook!!!! Freaking ridiculous that our civilizatuon has come to this
All which further goes to extinguish any notion that Calzaghe beating this ultimate one-trick-pony bum was in any way impressive.
It's such a shame the Welsh Wizard ruined that kid. He could have done great things if only he hadn't run into an angry Calzaghe with something to prove on that night in Manchester.
Yeah Lacy lost it after Calzaghe slapped him up. Just imagine what Bryant Brannon version of Roy Jones would have done to Lacy...
Left hook? Get the fuck out of here . like you're the guy people think of when they hear those words. What a joker this nobody is. What a hail Mary lawsuit he would have a much better shot if he sued someone using the term punching bag
Yeah this is a prime example of a fight which hindsight has painted in a very different light. After he steamrollered Pemberton, it was certainly a popular consensus that youth would have its way, that Calzaghe had been for too long feasting on bums like Veit, and had looked vulnerable against some of them e.g. Salem. Anyhow, we have to thank Lacy in some ways because even Calzaghe seemed to be surprised at how dominant he was, and he loved rhe acclaim that followed, and I don't think he would have taken on Kessler if it had been a close tougher fight.
