Superb matchup. I would lean toward Watanabe in a competitive fight. I think his offensive brilliance would slightly outdo Gerry's great defense and counterpunching. Watanabe by competitive yet deserved decision.
It'd be a beautiful fight, but I think Jiro would win. He's far more proactive and I think he'd outwork Penalosa. Plus, Gerry was never the type of fighter who Jiro would struggle with; Jiro didn't like aggressive fighters who were stronger than him. That wasn't Gerry.
