Joe Calzaghe Vs Archie Moore at 175

Who wins this ? Is Joes speed and punches in bunches too much for Moore - or does Moore's ring skills and KO punch put Calzaghe in his place ?

 

I've never seen Joe at 175, so I can't comment :nono: But Moore was a big LHW, as definetly more polished. So I guess he have the advantage.

 

Well really you have seen Joe at 175 .... I'm sure he was over 175 after he rehydrated after the weigh in for a 167 fight .... :clap:

 

I've never seen Calzaghe fight anyone any good anyway, so I guess he runs for his life and pops out a few jabs and slap-esque combos and just about knicks it on the scorecards.

The he breathes a sigh of relief.

 

Good point. But rehydrated or otherwise Calzaghe gets his ass handed to him.

 

And THAT, folks, is the bottomline!!

 

I can see Archie catching Joe with some nice shots ..
I also can see Archie's tight deffense take some edge off of Joes speed ..

However , I can also see Joe boxing from the outside and accumulating points with his faster foot speed and movement along with his quick slapping punches ...
If Joe goes inside at anytime like he did Vs Lacy a couple of times , that could spell disaster for him ..

IMO Joe , after looking good for awhile gets caught and Archies power either stops him or puts him in retreat for the rest of the fight ...
