Looks like Linares has called it quits following his loss to Jack Caterall. Hope he’s financially well off and enjoys his retirement.
Will miss Linares. All action fighter with beautiful offense despite his fragile chin and porous defense. Fun fighter to watch in his prime.
Considering his frailties he had a very good career, and is well respected in the UK for coming over here and beating quite a few of our guys on their own turf. Like you say, he had beautiful offensive skills.
