As I said a couple of day's ago, there were some serious quesitons with Aldo being fit to fight since his moto accident. So much that I find it curious that the UFC would announce a big fight with Edgar without being 100% clear on Aldo status. Smells really shady imo.

They should most def bring in the Korean Zombie to face Edgar and have the winner face Aldo down the line. But to be honest with Rampage out they also need a strong replacement for that fight too or this card will be pretty damn weak. I would tell Shogun to stop being a bitch and throw him in there with Texeira.

Or Maybe even Machida versus Teixeira since they say Machide will need another fight before fighting for the title. Or or do Machida vs Shogun 3 and hell the card is in Brazil so that would be pretty huge down there. Yes that is the best option. You're welcome Dana.

I had zero interest in the Rampage fight but I'm really really bummed about the Aldo-Edgar fight.

    What a shame.

Will Frankie have to get in line for a shot at Aldo's title?

I would imagine the fight will get booked again in a few months. Technically, Koch was next in line before he had to pull out with an "undisclosed injury" which I think was just a cover up to step aside and let Frankie fight Aldo, so because of this delay, Koch should be next inline but something tells me, they're still going to give the fight to Frankie next. Look for it around late November, early December.

I don't believe the accident was the cause, Aldo came out and said himself that the accident wasn't an issue. However, I do believe that the last minute change to fight Edgar probably caused him to think about his training and decide he wanted a bit more time to prepare. Edgar is never a guy you want to fight on short notice.
