Can Lopez run Oscar out of the ring like Tito in the late rounds, or does Oscar out-box the hell out of him

Lopez has no activity. Even if he scored a knockdown, he simply doesn’t throw enough to even have a chance to finish.

    De La Hoya via UD.

Physically, Lopez has everything that he needs to beat Oscar. Mentally, Lopez has everything that he needs to beat himself. That was the story of his career and history shows which was most likely to assert itself.

I think Lopez's physical talent is extremely overrated, and I was a big fan. Matter of fact, Jose Luis Lopez has the most overrated talent in history imo.

He had big power, and quick hands, but he had painfully slow feet and he couldn't spell defense. Subpar defensive reflexes.

People act as if Lopez had Duran-level talent, and was just lazy.

He WAS lazy, and he was talented, but he wasn't a super talent like the myth says.

Trinidad was WAYYYYY more talented than Lopez, and you see that even he had problems with DLH.

I remember people thought Lopez could beat Trinidad and De La Hoya. I never saw it. Very good talent as has been pointed out but besides being lazy and indifferent, he wasn’t good enough to beat the best.
