I think Medel is all wrong for Khaosai. Galaxy was a monster physically, had that world-collapsing power and was awesome at ring-cutting, but he wasn't difficult to hit. And Medel's favourite position was fighting off the ropes. Medel's style was perfect to deal with that. You have a big open slugger, who's always coming forward and loves to have you against the ropes. And Medel did stop somebody similar to Galaxy in Seki - a southpaw puncher who badly hurt Saldivar up at featherweight - in brutal, and dominant fashion. Vs Khaosai, Medel wouldn't even need to create opportunities, he'd have them in abundance. If he's on form, and not just lulling against the ropes and working things over, he'd nail Galaxy at every moment, setting him up and baiting him into his deathtraps. I think he'd stop Galaxy around the ninth, with the caveat being Galaxy always has a chance. I think Khaokar is a different match-up, and one which is much more difficult for Medel. I think it likely becomes a boxing match, which likely suits Khaokar unless Medel can bait him consistently into coming forward. I don't discount that scenario given that Medel managed to get Jofre to do it.
