This is a tough call IMO. Josh did beat Ramirez soundly, but Hatton was a helluva lot better than Ramirez. There were periods when Ramirez's pressure was troubling Taylor, and Taylor was taking punishment, and I'm sure prime Hatton could improve on that. However, on the flipside, Taylor certainly possess the power to hurt/drop Hatton as Ricky comes in. Problem is, at range, Taylor is quick, but he damn sure isn't a speed demon in the mold of the prime versions of Floyd/Pac that Hatton faced. I might actually tip prime Hatton to beat Taylor, but I'm not positive.
Ig go with hatton. As you say, ramirez pressure gave tsylor fits, and hatton was a better pressure fighter
I'd pick Hatton too. Like most Hatton fights, it would've been rough and tedious. But I think Hatton would control the pace and therefore win a decision.
I can see Ricky getting put on his arse at some point getting timed on the way in. Other than that i think it's mostly Hatton. He's not just a better pressure fighter than a guy like Ramirez, but his body attack is more vicious.
