Juan Diaz vs Corrales

I remember the first time I posted this matchup, a few simps picked Diaz(and picked him over Mancini). How you feel now?

 

I had always wanted this fight to happen back when Diaz was still unproven, mainly because I hated him so much.

Bottom line he comes to Chico with his agressive style and maybe gets stopped in 1. Diaz is tailor made to get KO'd by Chico. Juan comes to him, doesn't defend, doesn't move, AND has zero power.

Chico would actually be disappointed the war would be so quick and easy and would apoligize to the fans during his post fight interview.

Corrales makes Diaz QUIT in 5 rounds like Margarito did to Cintron.

 

Diaz by decision, dropping Chico twice and his mouthpiece 8 times in the progress.

If you're going to make outrageous claims you should at least break down your opinion of why you feel the way you do. Otherwise you just come out sounding like an attention hungry troll.

I can see why someone might mistakenly think Diaz would beat Chico. At first glance yeah, Chico doesn't do well against boxers. But it's usually boxers who move a lot and are pretty defensive. Plus Juan isn't a boxer but rather a brawler who hits like a boxer.

So basically you're saying Juan is going to sit in the pocket, throw defense out the window, trade punches with Coralles, and win the fight. Big.

Chico had crap defense, crap balance and crap tactical skill (apart from spitting out his mouthpiece)

And Diaz has crap defense, and no power which means the only way Chico gets dropped is if he trips on his own feet.

Here's the fight in a nutshell: Diaz and Chico stand toe to toe and throw and land bombs. You think Diaz wins that fight? Still?

Admit it dog, you were just being dramatic for drama's sake.

 

Corrales was the most devestating short puncher that 130-135 had seen since Arguello, and he was extremely accurate. Chico would not be able to miss Diaz, and Juan's chin would fold up after a few rounds.

Like I said, this is a repeat of Corrales-Diaz, only Diaz might last a bit longer than Angel did. Same result in the end though.

Chico would stop him in 3 rounds, and I think it would end up looking like Chico - Manfredy, man Vs boy.

Chubby little diaz would just end up getting smacked about non stop, hurt, and the ref would have to intervene.
