the card had something for you too if you check it out. some lightweight stiff named jamie kavanagh fought on the undercard. he'd surely whet your whistle. williams would punch holes in your guy brian rose.
Andrade reminds of Michael Nunn........... only without a fraction of the talent Nunn had. Although, I did enjoy watching him beat up that rat bastard Vanes for 12 rounds.
Thank you Jim Grey for asking Stevenson "When are you going to fight Kovalev?" Those ass clowns Mauro, and Bernstein were trying to pretend that Kov doesn't exist.
Showtime is on the short end of the stick when it comes to 168-175. Both Ward and Kov would beat the living Hell outta Stevenson.
:: If anyone is overestimating anyone it's you with Stevenson. Kovalev would batter him all over the place, and that ugly cunt Stevenson knows it.
It was a good fight but Stevensson wasn't impressive to me. His defense is leaky, and his lone plan of battle is still firing a left cross over and over again. Granted, he has huge power in it, but to me Kovalev looks like the better fighter, based on their recent performances (he is a bit unproven too) Also, Lemieux did well on undercard. Even though we are supposed to give up on young boxers who lose, I think he could still become useful. Of course, his defense and conditioning could still suck, but he can do damage
I don't fancy Lemieux's chances against GGG or Martinez, but I do think he could knock out that bum Quillin. Danny Jacob's will probably beat him to it though.
I agree GGG is way too much for him and there are several guys who could beat him but I wouldn't be shocked if Lemieux beat Sturm or Murray for example, and Martinez is getting up in age. Middleweight is pretty empty division right now overall, it was solid some years ago with Pavlik, Taylor, Abraham, prime Sturm and such with comers from 154 Tall Paul, Martinez and so on
LeMoo can dish it out yeah, that was obvious years ago, but you guys seem to be forgetting just how vulnerable he is when someone dishes it out in return. I wouldn't fancy his chances against any of the "top" middleweights, and of course he'd get flattened in a round or 2 by Gaybox.
