Watch the video, that is one of the most awful things I've ever seen. It's fighters like there (who have been training for like 6 months and call themselves pro fighters), that make mma look really bad.

Keep your eye on Matt Hughes who is the ref, he looks so disgusted by it all. :atu:

That is shit, I can't believe he is going to be on TUF. I have 4 guys in my gym that are local fighters who will probably never be much more, that would put his ass to sleep

 

I think he looked completely shit in that training clip where he stuttered something about his right hand... but in the actual fight his boxing (for a guy who trains for six months) looked solid - pretty fast hands, imo.

His opponent wasn't there to fight though...

 

For some reason I think he was just screwing around in the warm-up clip. He's throwing wild girl punches yet in the ring his shots are straight and with decent form.

 

he is a psuedo wierd mma fighter. He is the Crispin Glover of mma.

you are pretty much right. Grove, Herman, Starnes have all been dissapointments. Bisping has done alright but has arguably underachieved a bit.

 

I have thought the same, I think Bisping has been fairly protected. He was given a gift over Hamil and hasn't been made to really step up in competition. Now, I have a outright bias against Bisping, mainly because I can't stand the fucker. but it seems to me, the UFC is somewhat babying him.

 

Well, if Bisping beats Henderson at UFC 100, and when Anderson Silva beats Leites, Bisping gets Silva next, so the babying days will clearly be over.
