Anyone into this TV series on FX?

Love it, a bit like modern Dirty Harry in Kentucky.

Probably my favorite show on Television when it's on.

Olyphant is lights out in it. Goggins is perfect and some of the recurrent and past villains have been all-time classics.

There is a great performance in almost every scene.

You can almost say it's "Deadwood" in modern day Appalachia.

I'm a few episodes into Season 2, and it has been outstanding thus far. Boyd Crowder is one of the most compelling characters I've seen on tv in a long time.

I think I read somewhere that they were supposed to kill Boyd off in the first season, but Walt Goggins did such a good job they decided to keep him on for the long haul.

    His character is continually evolving.

I liked the vigilante angle and the religious angle. I'm still playing catchup. :)

Each season is better than the last IMO, watching S3 now and it's great.

From what little I have seen is more like Clint Eastwood's Coogan's Bluff (1968) about an Arizona deputy sheriff in New York searching for a fugitive that slipped out of his hands. Coogan's character was copied by Glen Larson's McCloud 70's tv series starring Dennis Weaver.

Yeah, is one my favorites from Clint Eastwood. His first non-western role pre-Dirty Harry.

It's absolutely fantastic. Creepy Quarles is also a great character and Dickie Bennett cracks me up.
