Probably my favorite show on Television when it's on. Olyphant is lights out in it. Goggins is perfect and some of the recurrent and past villains have been all-time classics. There is a great performance in almost every scene. You can almost say it's "Deadwood" in modern day Appalachia. :bears:
I'm a few episodes into Season 2, and it has been outstanding thus far. Boyd Crowder is one of the most compelling characters I've seen on tv in a long time.
I think I read somewhere that they were supposed to kill Boyd off in the first season, but Walt Goggins did such a good job they decided to keep him on for the long haul. His character is continually evolving.
Great Goggins interview. He's very very bright and interesting to listen to. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4k_iqRaTjnw&feature=related
From what little I have seen is more like Clint Eastwood's Coogan's Bluff (1968) about an Arizona deputy sheriff in New York searching for a fugitive that slipped out of his hands. Coogan's character was copied by Glen Larson's McCloud 70's tv series starring Dennis Weaver.
