Frank Shamrock has proposed himself as a replacement, hard luck for Elite XC, Ken is fucking stupid to have himself trained in a way that he could get cut so close to the fight
he s fighting Seth Petruzelli instead, never saw him fight but most who have are picking him to beat Kimbo, should be a better opponent than Ken in all case.
btw, wtf is with Ken pushing Kimbo from behind during the weight in, he made himself look like a clown all week end long it seems
This is terrible news for EliteXC and Kimbo. Kimbo is actually fighting someone with a pulse. *** Wow, I'm sure Tim Sylvia is just thrilled that Affliction made a commercial using his whole fight with Fedor*** TFK
If Kimbo loses, get ready for a HUGE rant from Dana White. You know he's got a boner at the prospect of EliteXC's posterboy getting KO'd by a TUF castoff. TFK
I just saw Petruzelli k-1 fight with Sapp,he got some good moves and speed but he leave himself very open, Kimbo should try to punch in between Petruzelli flurry and catch him while he leaves his chin in the air
LOL. I'm not going to pretend that I follow MMA as much as boxing, but even the most novice people I know felt that Kimbo was a sideshow. This just verified that in a huge way
Damn, that was a weakass punch that dropped him too. Somewhere Dana White just nutted all over his TV. TFK
yep, it was really a nothing punch, I didnt even catch it before the slow mo.I like Kimbo and he got a nice variety of punches and a fighter heart, but he doesnt seems to have a fighters instinct, he had no businnes getting kd for this and the way he react after wasnt good at all
I pray this isn't the death knell for EliteXC. If you look past all the Kimbo\Carano nonsense, they've put on some good fights. TFK
....my stream cut out for 10 seconds, and i missed the whole fight ......caught the replays though.......KO'd by a short jab!
You may be joking, but I think that's exactly what he did. But you're right about Elite XC, I'd hate to see them go away. They put on very good card. Hell, even though Shamrock bailed and Kimbo got stretched, last night's fights were solid.
I heard Frank tore Ken a new one on air and alluded to the possibility of this. It seems strange that Ken would train in a way so close to the as to get himself cut. He's been in the fight game a looong time now, he should know better...
Frank didn't really infer that Ken got cut intentionally, but he absolutely lambasted him for doing any mat work on the day of the fight. He basically said that Ken never goes lightly on the mat and this stunt cast a bad light on the Shamrock name.
