Khan nearly got KO'd by Sam Vargas. Brook should still destroy him.

 

Brook is like a nice, steady, clean sine wave, he's always going to be a certain level, not quite good enough to beat the very best, but good enough to have his moments, and never bad enough where he loses to a bum.

Khan is more like a heavily filtered triangle wave, with sharp peaks and low drops. His physical talents mean he has (or at least HAD) the potential to give superior fighters with a particular style absolute hell and possibly beat them on a good day, but there's also the chance he gets knocked unconscious by somebody many levels below. Credit to him though, he is willing to fight all of them.

Anyway, imo Khan is in a low drop moment, and it looks to be permanent and terminal to his career. I just can't see a way he wins this one.

I can’t see Khan handling Brook’s power. I think Brook will basically beat him down, once he measures Khan and finds the timing. Amir is just too open and he was in some trouble against Sammy Vargas.

And that’s probsvly why he’s finally taking the fight. Mayweather and Pacquiao are probably gonna fight again. And I don’t believe Khan has the self belief at this point that he could actually compete with the likes of Spence, Crawford, Thurman, and even Porter. DSG would probably beat him again too. But at least Brook provides a pay day for him to go out on.

Brook KO within 6 is how I see it. Even a drained Brook punches too hard for Khan.
