How good was this guy? Could he have, and should he have moved up to bantam? Big puncher who only lost one time in 48 fights early in his career. But the talent pool back then wasn’t all that great Opinions?
I consider him the H2H goat at 115. He had more skill and defense than given credit for and you pair that with his soul-crushing power, and it's hard fighter to stop.
Yeah, H2H GOAT at 115 is a fair placement for him, depending on you class as 115ers. I could see a stylistic foil like Penalosa defeating him, or bugger guys like Donaire and Inoue but if you put him in against the other top 115ers like Roman, Moon or Jiro, he'd beat them imo. I disagree the talent pool was poor; Khaosai was champ from 84 to 92. In that time, the division saw the likes of Roman, Rojas, Moon, Laciar, Ballas, Monterio, etc. Khaosai just didn't fight any of them. In fact, his reign kinda reminds me of Inoue's at 115. Crazy dominant, but missed out on all the good fighters around him, and so it's far less impressive than it could've been.
