Out of those 4 movies, which would you recommend. They're all currently on my DVR at home and we'll probably be watching one tonight. I don't like scary movies so I doubt I'll be placing my vote for The Fourth Kind.
Didn't see "Kick Ass" "The Box" was surprisingly better then I thought it would be. It was actually a well done 70's period piece. Somewhat clever for what it was. I liked "Book of Eli" better then most others seemed to. "The Fourth Kind" was fucking awful. Nobody will be scared, but you might get a few chuckles out of it.
You will enjoy Kick Ass the most. I thought the Box was terrible, Eli was dissapointing and 4th kind is terrible.
I saw kickass, book of eli and the box Kickass is a great movie. By far the best out of the 3 here that I saw. By far Box had an interesting premise and i really liked it for the first 30 minutes but then it was all downhill and fast Book of Eli was pretty plain. Not bad not great just okay.
Kick Ass has repeat value. The foul mouthed little girl "Hit Girl" is awesome. Very entertaining film. <EMBED height=272 name=Metacafe_3915215 type=application/x-shockwave-flash pluginspage=http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer width=440 src=http://www.metacafe.com/fplayer/3915215/kick_ass_hit_girl_red_band_trailer.swf allowScriptAccess="always" allowFullScreen="true" wmode="transparent" flashVars="playerVars=showStats=yes|autoPlay=no|videoTitle=Kick-Ass Hit Girl Red Band Trailer"></EMBED> Kick-Ass Hit Girl Red Band Trailer - Free videos are just a click away
Yeah, i havent even seen kick ass, but saw the other three and knew it would be the better film to watch.
It was the opposite for me. At the beginning I thought it was just going to be a stupid rip-off of "The Monkey's Paw"....................and then it took an interesting turn away from that.
Kick Ass started great. It didn't quite hold up to the end but even so it was an entertaining and fun parody
Haven't watched Eli....of the first three, I didn't really like any of them that much. Kick Ass seemed the longest of the three to get through...really didn't like it. I guess I'd say The Box.
We ended up watching Kick Ass. It was an interesting take on the superhero genre, and not as bad as I thought it would be. Is it me or is Nicolas Cage trying to steal Samuel Jacksons distinction of never meeting a role that he didn't like? He must be hard up for money after his tax issues.
i thought kickass was awesome. the kid who played the main character was a bit awkward and nick cage was so bizaare, but i thought it was nicely done. that girl was pretty badass.
Can't believe so many people liked Kick Ass. I thought it sucked ass. I felt like it was trying to be too many things. A teen romantic comedy, A drama and an action movie. I didn't feel that it blended all that together very well. I thought the Fourth Kind was okay, the way that bitch was screaming on the tape recording was probably scariest part of the whole movie. Book of Eli was better than I thought and I never watched the Box due to a poor rating on IMDB but based off of all the positive reviews here maybe I'll give it a go. On the other hand, most of y'all liked Kick Ass so maybe I shouldn't .
I don't think it was serious in trying to be all that, instead it was bit clumsy and silly on purpose, it was satire to superhero genre. The part that didn't really work though was the ultra-violence in the end: that also could be seen as parody but it didn't bring anything new to the table
I thought Kick Ass was awful. Just awful. I haven't seen the others except for Book of Eli which was disappointing. Good action scenes in parts though.
