Watched this tonight, having heard sod all about it.

I was massively surprised - it's bloody brilliant. The actors playing Kick Ass and Hit Girl were both superb.

A solid 9/10 from this viewer.

I enjoyed it as well, much better than expected.

Thought it was just awful. Couldn't make up its' mind over whether it was a comedy or a drama, & never finally put its foot in one camp or the other, spluttering all the way.

The worst part was that I really thought it would be a weak film, but when it came out, it had so much positive press, I caved --- only to be taught a lesson in trusting my instincts.

That was part of the appeal for me - it didn't fit into one category perfectly. Also, it was brilliantly shot by Matthew Vaughan.

If it was in black and white you'd say it's one of the greatest movies of all time.

    Don't you doubt it ;)

The acting talent pool was far deeper then.

Thought it sucked too. Seems like a comedy one minute then a drama the next. Crap movie.
