Not very familiar with Gavilan. I know he beat Basilio, and 2 times gave Sugar Ray all he could handle. From what I understand he's fast handed, skilled, and has one helluva jaw. But he doesn't have the power to really hurt Curry bad enough to make him uncomfortable. Hard to say. I guess gimme Curry via close decision which sees Gavilan coming on strong in the end.
