A slugfest between Kimbo Slice and Houston Alexander is looking like a strong possibility for UFC 107.

A source close to the situation advised FiveOuncesofPain.com today that although no bout agreements have been sent, at least one of the fighters has been formally approached about the possibility of the bout.

UFC 107 is scheduled for December 12 from Memphis, Tennessee, and will feature a headlining lightweight championship bout between B.J. Penn and Diego Sanchez.

Kimbo would be coming off of the heels of his appearance on “The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights“, and his recent TUF 10 loss at the hands (and moon-sized belly) of Roy “Big Countryâ€￾ Nelson. Prior to his stint at the TUF house Kimbo suffered a lightning quick TKO defeat to Seth Petruzelli after racking up wins over guys like Tank Abbott and James “Colossusâ€￾ Thompson.

Alexander recently bounced back into the winners circle with a first round TKO over Sherman Pendergarst during Adrenaline IV in September, following three consecutive defeats with the UFC.

A bout between the two heavy handed knockout artists at UFC 107 would go a long way in filling the void left by the scratching of Quinton “Rampageâ€￾ Jackson vs. Rashad Evans due to Rampage’s current involvement as B.A. Baracus on the upcoming A-Team remake.

Stay tuned to FiveOuncesofPain.com for any further develpments on this story.

I enjoy watching Alexander get put to sleep but I enjoy Kimbo getting beat up more.

A double KO would be great.:partie:

yeah i guess this means that Kimbo doesn't get a second chance and go on to make it to the final.....i doubt he even gets a second chance at all, i really don't think the UFC would bother if he lost twice in the show, would they?

Even if he does get a 2nd chance in TUF, does anyone think Kimbo is good enough to beat any of the fighters left? I certainly don't.

I've heard the Houston Alexander rumor for a few weeks now, and supposedly Kimbo has said he can drop down to 205...which I doubt. I don't think Kimbo has ever had to cut weight before, so who knows how he would react to it if he was able to cut to 205.

But Houston is a perfect matchup for Kimbo. He's smaller, he only fights stand up, and he's completely lost when the fight goes to the ground. If they're trying to push Kimbo, this is matchmaking at it's best.

I completetly agree about Kimbo making 205, I seriously doubt that will happen. He's never had to cut before and him saying he can make 205 is him just guessing. Kimbo is a solid guy at his current weight.

How do we know Houston won't be asked to move up? Just a thought.

so we know for sure now that even if Kimbo comes back he still won't win the show, if he's already got a fight lined up before the end of the year.

\Anyway, I pick Houston to take care of business.
