But isn't he suspended for a year or something ? How is Bellator's 205 division anyway? Or is he gonna go up to heavyweight and fight that fat pig Cole Konrad ?

Bellator's Lightheavy division is really their absolute worst.

Most hardcore MMA fans have heard of Bellator's other champions like Askren, Curran, Konrad and Michael Chandler but how many have heard of Christian M' Pumbu?

M'Pumbu won Bellator's inaugural LHW tournament and was crowned the champ. And then, hilariously, he lost his very next fight to UFC reject Travis Wiuff in a non-title affair. And he still holds the belt.

I love Bellator as most on here know, but I lost a little love for them when I read they signed Mo.

Yes. Because he's a cheating piece of shit. A cheating piece of shit shouldn't be rewarded because he has a 'bigger name.' Steroids are the single biggest threat to boxing and mma right now, imo. Violaters should be dealt with harshly, not rewarded.

It is rare that you and I agree, but you are dead on here. Bellator signed Mo before his suspension for steroids is even 1/4 way completed. That sends a terrible message. It basically says "Yeah, you got popped for roids and then got booted by Strikeforce, but we'll make you the star of our Lightheavy division".

What a joke. The UFC is wish washy and let guys like Marquardt back and Dana also indicated he didn't see ANY reason not to let Barnett back in the UFC. Really Dana??? I can give you 2 reasons. 2 positive steroid test.

But I was hoping for more from Bellator. I am not aware of anyone currently on their roster that has a failed test history. Is anyone?

King Mo, really just doesn't interest me what so ever. Especially after his failed test.

Are McCorkle and Rico Rodriguez still on the roster? McCorkle is legally cheating though, TRT. Rico has failed at least one test.

I wasn't aware that Ricco failed. I don't think he is with Bellator anymore but I might be wrong.

McCorkle is with Bellator, but again, he's legally cheating.

How do you reconcile this position with the standard "Run a business to make profit and to hell with other factors such as fairness to your employees"? After all, Bellator is just looking to make a profit and Lawal will help them do that presumably.

I can see ways to reconcile it, but I'm curious how you do specifically?

The TRT bullshit needs to die a quick death. If you need TRT, you can't fight. It's as simple as that.

Now it's spilling over into boxing. Peterson will be the first guy to seek an exception.

Wow, didn't get to enjoy the common ground very long.

First of all, I've never said to "hell with the employees".

My standard line is "I don't care how much money UFC fighters make as long as they aren't complaining and the product is entertaining."

And for me, the sport itself loses some entertainment value with every mainstream fighter that gets popped for juicing. Likewise, it also puts the growth of the sport at risk. The growth of the sport is extremely important to me because it deepens the talent pool and improves the overall quality.

But ultimately I don't need to reconcile anything. I hate PED's because it's cheating. And it bothers me when organizations like Bellator or the UFC promote cheating even if it's veiled.
