Obviously this is a fight that wont happen anytime very soon, but MAYBE one day. In the future when Williams moves to 154(which he'll eventually be forced to do) and assuming Kirkland continues to progress and passes a few more tests. Imagine how wild this fight would be!
I could see Kirkland getting inside and making it rough on Williams. Williams still has to show he's willing to use his jab consistently, from minute to minute, round to round, fight to fight, because when he lapses with that punch he's liable to getting hit with a lot of punches.
Well I think Kirkland has the bigger firepower between the two, and with Paul's leaky D that could be a problem. On the flip side, Kirkland has NO regard for defense, and never will, and he's hurtable. So that bodes well for Williams. But who knows... right now I'd defintely favor Paul. Kirkland has yet to even beat a decent fighter, let alone a top fighter like Williams. Hopefully Kirkland fights Julio, so that maybe he can be tested. If he blows away Julio like he does the majority of his comp than THAT would be impressive.
