He short and he kidna squares up...well, he squares up his upper body and footwork is sorta disjointed as he does it. Very awkward approach.

Still, in this fight Cortes is way too available to be hit.

It's a good thing Cortes didn't take him lightly...otherwise he might not have seen round 2.

I hear kirkland has been dropped before. seems like there is a KO in his immediate future and I'm not talking about kyle orton

I'm not a big fan of the physical fitness over technical fitness style of training and that's all I get out of Wolfe. Maybe I'm wrong.
    .
Kirkland has a lot of talent and if he can be a fighter who learns from his losses, he could be a good world champ. But those losses are coming.

    Crap stoppage.

I love Kirkland though. He'll lose sometime down the road but he's going to be fun to watch for awhile. Maybe be a knockout or get knocked out type of fighter like Julian Jackson.

I agree. I don't care if he loses to nobodies. When he fights, I watch like I did for a Julian Jackson or Mike Tyson fight and nowdays Valero. To me, every single exchange has me locked because the guy has straight power.

They need to stop comparing him to Iron Mike. He hasnt got a fraction of Mike's talent. But still, I like him. He's fun as hell to watch, and he comes to fuck guys up. He'll never be anything great, but and its doubtful he'll beat the elite. But it'll be hella fun watching him try to.

Yeah, the Tyson Comparison is IDIOTIC...

Kirkland's a SLIGHTLY Better Version of Julian Letterlough, N REED's Opinion...

letterlough? that's a real indictment on kirklands ability. you're suggesting he's worse than I thought, reed.

Well Shit, even Cortes had BRIEF Moments...

His JAB was Effective when he Used it...He Landed some Decent BODYSHOTS & he BUCKLED Kirkland @ 1 Point...

Like Letterlough, Kirkland's an Exciting BANGER w/Apparent LIMITATIONS...He'll B a Fairly Memorable T.V. Fighter, but it's Doubtful to REED that he'll Ever B a Champion...

Angulo would STOP him...It'd B a GOOD Fight for as Loooooooong as it Lasted & Kirkland would Likely Hurt or DROP Angulo, but Angulo's Got More SKILL & TECHNIQUE w/Just as Much POWER (if Not MORE)...

Kirkland will B on the FRINGES of the Top 5-10 @ Jr. Middle...

I think he's going to be better than Letterlough, but he isn't right now. I think it's a good comparison.
