I'm expecting Vitali to step up to Rahman if Rahman gets the shock upset. Although with Wladimir's chin and Rahman's right hand, it probably wouldn't be all that big of a shock.
Who are you picking in this fight and why?

Obviously the safe pick is Wlad by KO but if you could get good odds a bet on Rahman might be worth it.

Wow, you're picking a Klitschko? And against a DC cat (well, B-More, but almost same difference)? Damn.

    Rahman TKO1

True, it's one of those fights. Klitschko looked susceptible against Thompson and got tagged a few times. Rahman has a very long solid jab and a powerful right hand. It'll be a good fight for as long as it goes I think.

Would be funny as hell if your first pick actually happened instead. Would you be saying "I told you so?"

Wlad by KO in what ever round he decides to start throwing right hands. That's usually about the 4th or 5th.

Agreed. This fight isn't even as exciting as it is made to be. Apart from the lottery win against Lewis when has Rahman ever demonstrated that famous right hand power? He never dropped Oleg Maskaev or even Taurus Sykes

True although Rahman did drop Sanders coming in with a well-timed right hand when Sanders opened up on him. Maybe that's what Wlad needs to be careful of. If he opens up and Rahman slips one through....

That might be a problem for Rahman, Wlad doesn't open up hardly ever, unless he has a guy hurt bad.

    Klit TKO inside 7 rounds.

I'd like to see Wlad crumble against and have Manny once again get beaten by Rahman but it ain't gonna happen. Rock is too slow to land anything meaningful and he'll get carved up then taken out.

I'll hold off on my final pick until I see what shape Rahman's in, but provisionally I'll go with Wladerina to stop him in 9.

Wlad by ugly decision win UNLESS he decides (rightly) that Rahman is a mook who built an entire career from one hail mary shot and decides to spark him brutally out, in which case Wlad by KO in six.

I just can't believe we're being subjected to watching Rahman fight again at this level.

I hope Wlad beats him out of the top 100. Geez..

Rahman is a late replacement. Should be Povetkin fighting Wlad this saturday.
