Primes at 147. Oscar had a ton of problems with Ike and I thought he lost, honestly. It wasn’t one sided or anything, but I thought Quartey was more consistent every round and did most of the clean landing up to the 12th where Oscar dropped him and had him up against the ropes with that barrage. That said, Ray is a different animal. And I’m not sure that Ike could control him with his jab the way he did Oscar for large parts of their fight. Leonard vía 10th round stoppage for me. I think Ike fades late, gets caught with a left hook he can recover from, and Leonard finishes.
There really isn't a worse matchup for Quartey than Leonard. Ike would find out very quickly that Ray was several levels above Oscar.
Leonard too mobile and too offensively dynamic... Oscar’s biggest problem against Quartey was his lack of a right hand... Leonard has no such trouble ... Quartey might have a moment here or there with his great jab but ultimately I think he’s either getting stopped late or he’s surviving to hear a one-way decision that even he can’t complain about
