Its a bit disturbing that the opponents of arguably Floyd's 3 best performances are all dead.

Floyd's ALWAYS Done Charitable Deeds in the ABSENCE of Camera's to Document it...Every Now & Then, hell Show Up to the National Golden Gloves just to Hang Out w/the Finalists AND Take them Out to Dinner...

REED's Only Aware of this Because Charles Hatley (a 2-Time National GG Finalist) TOLD him about it...

I'm sure PBF is aware of it and that's why he drags his bout with Manny...... He just doesn't want another life on his conciseness.

Fraud F*ckweather 'the boxer' is an assh*le who likes to flaunt his money. But Floyd Mayweather Jr 'the person' seems like a pretty cool dude. I wouldn't mind having a beer with Floyd Mayweather Jr the man. But I'm no fan of Fraud F*ckweather the boxer!

I'm guessing most feel the exact opposite as you bhai saab.. gestures like this aside, Floyd mostly seems to me to be an ignorant and totally juvenile prick outside of the ring. Granted, I don't know him, but it's kind of hard to give him the benefit of the doubt.

IN the ring, he's one of the GOATs.

    In the ring he's a motherf*cker! Out of the ring, he's a cool motherf*cker!

Floyd's an awesome character. Outside of occasionally striking his baby's mother he's not really a confrontational guy. Generous too.

He's pretty cool in the ring, like when he was giving Larry his football picks mid-fight

Count me among of those who feel the opposite.

I love watching him perform in the ring. Despite the stinkers he's been involved in, I find his boxing style and moves in the ring to be aesthetically beautiful.

Outside the ring he comes across as juvenile and obnoxious. I'm sure he has a good side and all, but he also uses his girlfriends as speed bags. It's also outside of the ring where he's a been a diva/bitch when it comes to signing or negotiating contracts with some of the opponents we want to see him fight.

I want you to close your eyes for a moment and consider this hypothetical story.

There's a fighter who has won titles from 130-154lbs. He's beaten among others, Corrales, Castillo, Hatton, Mosley, De La Hoya, Judah, Marquez and is unbeaten in over 40 fights. He hasn't fought Margarito or Cotto or Pacquiao as yet but he's easily beaten guys that have knocked out or drawn with the aforementioned.

Now picture this fighter, unbeaten in his long career and 6 titles with those names on his record. Can you see him? Now imagine that his name is Sukvinder and he's in fact a SIKH!!

Does your opinion of his achievements change?

Good post until you had to mention the part in bold.

Beating guys who beat those guys isn't a substitute for fighting them. Also, who did he ever beat that beat Cotto?

I don't see how this could be called a PR move... we are talking about a guy who thrives on bad PR

Yeah he also didn't put much fanfare around it, tweet about it, etc. I'll give him credit for it.

Arum probably owes Hernandez money and loaned money to Floyd so Floyd could look good, and is currently charging Floyd 4 points above the Vig.

If Sukvinder ducks fighters, talks a lot of crap, flaunts his money and makes videos on YouTube of him counting a million dollars and makes racist videos of Filipinos and tweets on Twitter telling people to watch Lady Gaga as opposed to the Pacquiao/Mosley fight, I absolutely cannot support this person.
Come on Sly! If there's ever a Sikh who amounts to anything in boxing, I'd support him for putting India on the map but other than that, if he's a cocky SOB like Floyd who handpicks fighters and goes life and death with a shot Oscar and ducks the best in the world, I'd want to see this Sikh bastard get his ass raped!

I didn't read the link. What did Floyd do, offer Hernandez a rematch?

Floyd and Genaro were friends. I read articles where Genaro spoke highly of Floyd and said they were friends.

Genaro didn't speak as highly of Oscar though.
