    Lewis of the Bruno era might very well lose... Liston is in some ways a vastly more talented and technically sound Ray Mercer...

    Lewis of the Holyfield era had become a more intelligent prizefighter and knew better how to truly utilize his height... I think he knocks Sonny out

    Liston can't be totally discounted, however, I'm pretty confident in saying Lummox would have taken Liston probably. That goes for either version of Lewis really.

    Lewis was probably too big and too powerful for Liston.

    Lewis CHIN is always a liability....like cdoggy said...the 90's Lewis...could very well go nite nite...2000's Lewis take it.

    Lewis wins. Bruno era Lewis destroyed Ruddock and would have also destroyed the guys he beat in the Holyfield era.

    Liston was a skillful, surprisingly defensive guy who took guys apart with his jab and combinations. There is however no proof how he would have done if he didn't have the size and strength advantage. Lewis by KO
