Although Vinny Pazienza had a feud with Roberto Duran in the 90s, Pazienza credited the movie Rocky for inspiring him to become a boxer. Duran played Rocky's sparring partner in the movie. Also, Apollo Creed, the memorable and charismatic champion in the movie, had a bodyguard played by Michael Dorn.
